My Achievers Program
My Achievers Program was built with the vision to motivate and support students of color and immigrant students to achieve higher education and career goals.
We aim to encourage students to demonstrate progress and improve academically, help them meet high school requirements and graduate with the possibility to enroll in higher education.
MAP works toward exposing students to diverse career options while providing them with role models whose success and knowledge will motivate them to reach their goals. Lastly, MAP helps engage students to connect with their community in a positive way through volunteering or service back to others.
*All students are welcome.

Mock Trial
Mock Trial is a competition where teens work with legal professionals in their community to develop an understanding of real life case law and the role of the court system in a democratic society.

Leadership Academy
The YMCA Leadership Academy is a dynamic program for young leaders ages 15–19, offering workshops, mentorship, and hands-on experiences to build essential skills in teamwork, communication, and social responsibility. Participants learn to lead with integrity and inclusivity, leaving the program with a deep sense of purpose and the tools to create lasting change in their schools and communities.
Upon completing the Academy, graduates can continue their journey through two specialized career pathways.
The Lifeguard Pathway provides the training and certification needed to become a YMCA lifeguard, building water safety, emergency response, and leadership skills both in and out of the pool.
The Sports Referee & Youth Worker Pathway prepares graduates to officiate games and mentor young athletes, with training in sports officiating, conflict resolution, and positive youth development.
Both pathways are designed to launch teens into meaningful roles where they can make a real difference.
