As a charitable organization the Y is pleased to offer financial assistance for membership and programs based on household income. An “Access For All” Membership can provide financial assistance to individuals and families with lower incomes based on household income.
With Access for All there is: No join fee; a simple application form; and no waiting time to attend your YMCA after you apply. When verifying household income the YMCA will not keep or make copies of your personal financial information. Our staff simply needs to see and verify your personal income documents to award an appropriate twelve-month renewable membership.
The Access for All Membership application is available online at this link or at all YMCA branch Welcome Centers. The household income verification can be done at the time of application if documentation is provided.
Please be ready to show:
If those documents are not available or applicable, the Y will also accept paperwork documenting income assistance from government or charitable providers to verify your income need. A list of possible sources of assistance can be found on the application form.
If you would prefer a private setting to discuss your financial need or if you need help with completing any part of the application you may make an appointment with an Access For All administrator in your local branch.
