In recognition of our 125th anniversary, the YMCA of Snohomish County is proud to launch The Story Place, a storytelling podcast shaped by people, place, and connection.

The YMCA of Snohomish County celebrated a successful 2026 Community Campaign, with every branch meeting its fundraising goal and collectively raising more than $1.65 million.

The YMCA of Snohomish County wrapped up its 3rd Annual My Y Week, exceeding expectations and goals by bringing in over $50,000 in financial support. Throughout My Y Week, community partners donated $1 for every member check-in from March 1 – 9, 2026, generating excitement for and awareness of the 2026 Community Campaign.

This past Saturday, the YMCA of Snohomish County proudly hosted our first All Swim Instructor In Service – bringing together 75 instructors from all six branches for a high-impact, hands-on training experience with tons of energy and excitement.

The YMCA of Snohomish County has been awarded a $100,000 Global Engagement Grant from Boeing to sustain and expand hands-on Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) programs for youth and teens across the county. 

This year marks the 125th anniversary of the YMCA of Snohomish County, celebrating more than a century of strengthening our community and ensuring everyone has a place to belong. Since opening its doors on January 23, 1901, the Y has been a trusted partner to generations of families—responding to local needs and helping neighbors thrive.
