Code Quests: Get ready for a day of coding, creativity, and problem-solving with LEGO EV3 robots! This hands-on workshop is designed for 3rd-5th graders to learn the basics of coding while programming LEGO robots to tackle exciting challenges. Throughout the day, kids will learn how to write simple code to make their robots move, navigate mazes, and use sensors to solve problems. As they work in teams, they’ll explore the power of programming, testing their code, and refining their creations to reach new goals. By the end of the day, they’ll have built and coded their own robot adventures, gaining valuable skills in both coding and critical thinking!

Curious Chemists: Join us for a day of explosive fun and hands-on learning in the world of chemistry! This workshop is perfect for 3rd-5th graders who want to explore chemical reactions and discover the science behind everyday phenomena. Throughout the day, kids will dive into the scientific process, making predictions, testing hypotheses, and observing reactions firsthand. From bubbling potions to colorful explosions, participants will conduct safe and exciting experiments, learning about acids, bases, and how different substances interact. By the end of the day, they’ll not only understand the basics of chemistry but also develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills, all while having a blast with science!

Throughout the day, kids will explore the engineering design process—planning, building, testing, and improving—while working on a variety of interactive projects. From designing solutions to problems to constructing bridges and towers, participants will unleash their creativity and problem-solving skills in a collaborative, team-based environment. By the end of the day, they’ll walk away with a deeper understanding of how engineering shapes the world around us—and a sense of accomplishment from bringing their ideas to life!
