We’re now offering in-branch personal training!

We have experienced, certified personal trainers who are ready to create a personalized program to help you achieve your goals, no matter your current fitness level.

Y personal trainers provide the motivation and accountability to support you through every physical challenge and encourage you to try your hardest. Each one-on-one session will push you to your maximum potential, while ensuring proper form with a workout tailored to you. Through undivided attention and expert advice, your trainer will guide you every step of your journey.

Are you rehabbing from an injury? Are you looking to build muscle? Do you want to improve mobility? Your trainer genuinely cares about your goals and will partner with you to support, motivate, and celebrate your successes.

Meet Your Trainer


I love helping people reach their goals and motivating them to become a better version of themselves. I enjoy working with anyone who needs help getting started with their fitness journey or someone who may need an extra push.


Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and Certified Athletic Trainer, specializing in athletic development and athletic performance. If you are looking to up your game in your 5K’s, on the basketball court, in the pool, I’m the guy for you. Here to get you from where you are to where you want to be as quickly as possible.


My experiences in the health and fitness industry over the past five years have allowed for me to work with clients one-on-one, in small groups, and even successfully lead group exercise classes reaching upwards of 50 participants in a single class. I take a tremendous amount of pride in keeping my approach to each health seekers journey unique and individualized based upon their direct needs. My goal is to not only help you find success, but also the confidence you need to continue to grow a sustainable healthy lifestyle. I am also able to provide in depth understanding of many orthopedic conditions, and injury recovery working locally as a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant in outpatient care.

A few months after the Monroe YMCA opened, I joined as a busy mom of three young children looking to carve out some me-time and get back in shape. I grew up in an active family, backpacking and running, and wanted an athletic lifestyle for my new family. Years later, after not only gaining back my healthy habits and joining a supportive community, now I join the staff as a Certified Personal Trainer to help you reach your fitness goals and feel the support of the Y for yourself! The Y helped me achieve many personal goals, such as finding the courage to try new things like Spartan obstacle course races which were far out of my initial comfort zone, run my first ultramarathon- a 50k at Lord Hill, and know that even when rough months/years happen and that fitness slips, it can be attained again. I started working at the YMCA as a LiveStrong Coach right before the pandemic and thoroughly enjoyed helping people of all ages and abilities realize their strengths. I look forward to meeting you!


I have worked in health and fitness for many years teaching group exercise classes, one on one personal training and small group training. I believe regular physical activity and good nutrition is the fountain of youth!

I have lived in the Puget Sound area for over 20 years and enjoy walking, hiking, biking AND working out at our YMCA with friends.

We live to move and move to live and I believe there are so many FUN ways to engage in physical activity. I love helping people of all ages get stronger, faster, feel great and look great! My goal is to help you discover what you enjoy, can get excited about and even be inspired, all while improving your quality and love of life.

All packages include a complimentary orientation for your first session. Get to know your trainer, share your goals and fitness history, and then you’re ready to get to work!


  • Safety, Sanitation, and Social Distancing Practices

    The safety of our staff and members is our highest priority. You’ll notice new signage throughout our facilities encouraging frequent handwashing, cleaning of the equipment before and after use, and social distancing from other Y members.

    Please bring your own water bottle and towel (if needed) to your session. Water fountain use is restricted to water bottle filling stations only and there is no towel service provided. Currently our pool, showers, basketball courts, hot tubs, saunas, and locker rooms are closed. Locker rooms are available for restrooms and handwashing only.
