We’re now offering in-branch personal training!

We have experienced, certified personal trainers who are ready to create a personalized program to help you achieve your goals, no matter your current fitness level.

Y personal trainers provide the motivation and accountability to support you through every physical challenge and encourage you to try your hardest. Each one-on-one session will push you to your maximum potential, while ensuring proper form with a workout tailored to you. Through undivided attention and expert advice, your trainer will guide you every step of your journey.

Are you rehabbing from an injury? Are you looking to build muscle? Do you want to improve mobility? Your trainer genuinely cares about your goals and will partner with you to support, motivate, and celebrate your successes.

Meet Your Trainer


A few months after the Monroe YMCA opened, I joined as a busy mom of three young children looking to carve out some me-time and get back in shape. I grew up in an active family, backpacking and running, and wanted an athletic lifestyle for my new family. Years later, after not only gaining back my healthy habits and joining a supportive community, now I join the staff as a Certified Personal Trainer to help you reach your fitness goals and feel the support of the Y for yourself! The Y helped me achieve many personal goals, such as finding the courage to try new things like Spartan obstacle course races which were far out of my initial comfort zone, run my first ultramarathon- a 50k at Lord Hill, and know that even when rough months/years happen and that fitness slips, it can be attained again. I started working at the YMCA as a LiveStrong Coach right before the pandemic and thoroughly enjoyed helping people of all ages and abilities realize their strengths. I look forward to meeting you!


I am a NASM Certified Personal Trainer and Fitness Instructor. My Passion is fitness and living a healthy lifestyle. I understand how it feels to not feel fit, because I have been there. Having weight gain during different times of my life and losing my confidence. I care deeply for people, and my goal in life is to give to everyone with compassion and support. I believe feeling fit, strong and confident is a part of living life to the fullest. “You are what you believe you are!” “You can do what you believe you can!” I want to help you on your path to change your mindset to “I can and I will!” Let’s make this happen together!
