The Most Important Summer Ever
YMCA summer programs provide children with opportunities to explore, challenge themselves, learn new skills and make new friends. Our camps further education and creativity while helping to create lasting relationships. Our swim programs teach children life-saving safety around water skills, build confidence, courage and a drive to succeed. For many of us, fond childhood summer memories continue to fuel our imagination and remind us of a time that was carefree and inspiring.
Access to Y summer programs is especially important in the wake of the pandemic that kept many children isolated from friends and other adult mentors. The Y will play a crucial role in helping kids transition from remote and hybrid learning to more traditional academic models this fall. Many of our community’s families are working to recover from the economic challenges the past year has caused. We cannot let a family’s temporary financial constraints stop children from having access to Y summer programs and services.
For just $40 you can provide a child with 8 lessons of Safety Around Water. A gift of $100 provides a month of swim team participation and $120 gives a child access to 8 group swim lessons. Give today to ensure children are given the chance to learn essential water safety skills, the opportunity to bond with family and friends, and the ability to develop a strong sense of accomplishment.
Give an hour ($7), a day ($56), or a full week ($280) of camp. Give generously, to support one child or ten, because there is no end to the number of benefits our youth receive when they experience the magic of camp at the Y.
