Youth Sports

Read the Y’s RETURN TO SAFE PLAY guidelines to learn more about our safety protocols and how we’re working to keep sports safe.

Welcome to Youth Sports

The Y is the place to be for youth sports! Participants will learn new skills, burn some energy, disconnect from technology, and interact with their peers in a fun, safe environment. YMCA sports programs teach confidence, teamwork, sportsmanship, and other skills critical to healthy youth development. Our priority is a return to safe play through new protocols and procedures. By implementing wellness/temperature checks, physical distancing, frequent hand washing/sanitizing, and more, our programs emphasize safety, as well as fun.

In the Y’s recreational youth volleyball league, players learn the fundamentals of volleyball, sportsmanship, teamwork and healthy habits while sharpening skills like spiking, setting and serving, practicing drills and having fun. This league is open to all genders. Teams practice once per week and play games on the weekend, including home games and games against other YMCA’s in the County.
