Meet Your Trainers
|I joined the YMCA Health and Wellness team in the summer of 2018 and I’m certified to instruct Cycle Together, Cycle 30, Pedaling for Parkinson’s, Strength Train Together, and Defend Together. I’m a Certified Personal Trainer through the National Council of Sport and Fitness (NCSF). I love working with people to help them reach their goals in weight loss, strength, endurance and range of motion.
I began my fitness journey at age eight when I joined my local swim team. I swam competitively until age 18, traveling all over the state of Washington. When it came time to choose a field of study, I found myself gravitating toward the Human Kinetics program at Trinity Western. In college, I was involved with programs such as study of body movement, athletic therapy, physical education, nutrition, and exercise. I took some time off to stay home with my kids, but now I’m very excited to be working with the YMCA family and helping people stay active.
One of my ultimate joys in life is to watch people live active lives and to see them achieve their fitness goals.
