Everett Family YMCA Personal Training

We’re now offering in-branch personal training!

We have experienced, certified personal trainers who are ready to create a personalized program to help you achieve your goals, no matter your current fitness level.

Y personal trainers provide the motivation and accountability to support you through every physical challenge and encourage you to try your hardest. Each one-on-one session will push you to your maximum potential, while ensuring proper form with a workout tailored to you. Through undivided attention and expert advice, your trainer will guide you every step of your journey.

Are you rehabbing from an injury? Are you looking to build muscle? Do you want to improve mobility? Your trainer genuinely cares about your goals and will partner with you to support, motivate, and celebrate your successes.

Meet Your Trainers

Gael

I am known for my expertise in leading Group Exercise classes, coaching Small Group Personal Training Boot Camps, and facilitating the Y Triathlon Club.

I have the ability to push, pull, and maneuver the obstacles that are in your way so that you can achieve goals that possibly seem out of reach. I see the “you” that you have always wanted to be. By training with me, you will finally see that same you with your own eyes!

I specialize in Small Group Training and find that training with your buddies is not only more fun, but the accountability and commitment to each other will keep driving you forward and reaching new fitness levels together. I am not for the faint of heart, but if you have grit, I will help you get to where you want to be.

Amy

I am an ACE certified Personal Trainer and Group Exercise Instructor with specialty certifications in corrective exercise, orthopedic fitness and sports medicine. My “all-inclusive” style combines my love of human motion with adaptable exercises and movement patterns for all levels of fitness participation. My goals are for each individual to walk away with a successful workout, strong awareness of how their body moves, and learn something new so they can further challenge themselves toward their goals. If I’m not training or teaching I enjoy being with my family, playing outside, camping, traveling, cooking, studying human movement performance, and moonlighting as an aerial artist.

All packages include a complimentary orientation for your first session. Get to know your trainer, share your goals and fitness history, and then you’re ready to get to work!

  • Safety, Sanitation, and Social Distancing Practices

    The safety of our staff and members is our highest priority. You’ll notice new signage throughout our facilities encouraging frequent handwashing, cleaning of the equipment before and after use, and social distancing from other Y members.

    Please bring your own water bottle and towel (if needed) to your session. Water fountain use is restricted to water bottle filling stations only and there is no towel service provided. Currently our pool, showers, basketball courts, hot tubs, saunas, and locker rooms are closed. Locker rooms are available for restrooms and handwashing only.
