School Age Care
We believe every child can achieve their full potential in a safe, nurturing environment. At the Y, we strengthen community through youth development because we believe that a community is stronger when all children have the opportunity to discover who they are and what they can achieve. Our School-Age Care program impacts youth by guiding them through skill development, positive relationships, and inspiring opportunities to explore and discover.
One week or the whole summer. Indoors or out. On their own or in a group. Archery to arts, canoes to campfires, at YMCA summer camp your kids will have an amazing experience, all in a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment.
At the Y, we believe the ability to swim is a critical life skill.
When you learn to swim, you gain confidence, acquire safety/rescue skills, and experience water activities you can enjoy for a lifetime. Throughout all stages, we teach students how to be safe and more comfortable in the water.
The YMCA has long been America’s favorite swimming instructor. Whether just learning how to swim, improving strokes, or taking water exercise classes, members are in safe hands with our certified swimming instructors and lifeguards.
Swim Lessons are available for everyone 6 months and older. Whether you are increasing your comfortability around water or want to improve your stroke technique, group or private lessons your instructor will fit your needs & goals.
Charter & Legacy Members will have priority registration for our first Swim Lesson session beginning September 14 at 7 am. The session will begin the week after we open for operations.
Swim Team offers youth the opportunity to learn about swimming as a sport while having fun. Coaching includes the YMCA values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility while working on endurance training and stroke techniques.

A certified nutrition coach will help you implement healthy eating strategies to improve well-being and reach your goals.
Pedaling for Parkinson’s
Pedaling a bicycle may change the life of someone with Parkinson’s disease. Research conducted at the Cleveland Clinic showed a 35% reduction in symptoms by the simple act of pedaling a bicycle at a rapid pace – optimally, 80-90 revolutions per minute.
Fast pedaling is not a cure of Parkinson’s disease and should not be touted as such, but there is compelling evidence to show that it does make a real difference for many who try it.We do know that fast-paced cycling is changing the lives of increasing numbers of participants who, before this, had no hope beyond medication and eventually surgery to slow the progression of their disease.
A certified personal trainer will develop a structured program to help you reach your personal goals.
