Pedaling for Parkinson’s

Pedaling a bicycle may change the life of someone with Parkinson’s disease. Join us for this three times a week class designed specifically for those with Parkinson’s. View our group exercise schedules for class details.

Teen Strength Orientation

Participants will learn proper cardio skills, and safe lifting techniques using the strength circuit machines. All youth ages 12-13 must complete this session in order to use the circuit machines. Included in your membership.

Weight Loss Program

The Weight Loss Program is a 12-week, discussion group designed for adults who want to lose weight. Receive expert coaching and continuous group support, learn sustainable ways to eat healthier and move more in order to accomplish your weight loss goals. There are no gimmicks and no restrictive approaches, just the tools you need to make the necessary changes in your lifestyle.

Cost for the 12-week session is $99 for members and $199 for community members.

Specialty Programs

Adaptive Conditioning

Adaptive conditioning increases stamina, mobility, and strength, as well as prevent injury for persons who have physical disabilities or enjoy participating in adaptive sports.

Metabolic Circuit

Sara will start your group in the Cardio/Weight room on machines and then transition to the Group X Studio where we will utilize our new, improved and awesome functional training equipment and continue the circuit. Here we will offer some great circuits meant to challenge metabolic fitness and strength in a functional, safe, and fun way.

7th Annual Pedaling for Parkinson’s Pedal-a-thon – POSTPONED

Build a team of 4-6 people and join the fun as we pedal past Parkinson’s. This pedal-a-thon fundraiser provides the finances we need to successfully offer life changing Pedaling for Parkinson’s programming to our community. Enjoy music, prizes, fun and food as our community shows its support for those battling Parkinson’s. If you don’t have a team—we can help get you on one. Pedaling a bicycle has changed the lives for many people diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease. Research conducted at the Cleveland Clinic showed an average of 35% reduction of symptoms by the simple act of pedaling a bicycle at a rapid pace, optimally 80-90 revolutions per minute. Tri Club

Join us for a mini triathlon which includes a 40 minute swim, 40 minutes of cycling, and a run/walk/crawl outdoors. Each week you will start with either the swim or the bike, depending on participation and space. If you are preparing for your first ever tri or even an Ironman, this is for you.
