7th Annual Pedaling for Parkinson’s Pedal-a-thon – POSTPONED
Build a team of 4-6 people and join the fun as we pedal past Parkinson’s. This pedal-a-thon fundraiser provides the finances we need to successfully offer life changing Pedaling for Parkinson’s programming to our community. Enjoy music, prizes, fun and food as our community shows its support for those battling Parkinson’s. If you don’t have a team—we can help get you on one. Pedaling a bicycle has changed the lives for many people diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease. Research conducted at the Cleveland Clinic showed an average of 35% reduction of symptoms by the simple act of pedaling a bicycle at a rapid pace, optimally 80-90 revolutions per minute. Contact Brook at email@example.com for more information.
Join us for a mini triathlon which includes a 40 minute swim, 40 minutes of cycling, and a run/walk/crawl outdoors. Each week you will start with either the swim or the bike, depending on participation and space. If you are preparing for your first ever tri or even an Ironman, this is for you.
