Active older adults live longer and have better functional conditioning. That is why the YMCA offers water exercise, yoga, walking clubs stretching and toning classes, volunteer opportunities, and social events.
Programs include group exercise classes, social events, low impact water exercise, community education and more!

Group Exercise Classes
Group exercise is one of many ways the Y supports members in achieving their health and wellness goals. The YMCA Group Exercise Programs improve health, encourage social interaction and with motivating music, are one of the most enjoyable ways to move and feel great. Highly trained staff members lead the programs and often tailor them to the specific needs of the community.
We have experienced, certified personal trainers who are ready to create a personalized program to help you achieve your goals, no matter your current fitness level.
Y personal trainers provide the motivation and accountability to support you through every physical challenge and encourage you to try your hardest. Each one-on-one session will push you to your maximum potential, while ensuring proper form with a workout tailored to you. Through undivided attention and expert advice, your trainer will guide you every step of your journey.

Trips, Travels & Events

Pickleball is a fun game which combines elements of tennis, badminton, and ping pong. Open Pickleball is an opportunity for all members to try the game for the first time or hone their more advanced skills! This is an open playing time without instructor supervision.
Come join the Y Steppers and dance to all styles of music and dances from different cultures and eras. The Y Steppers have lots of fun, meet new friends, and benefit from exercise that promotes balance, muscle strength and coordination. The Y Steppers perform at schools, nursing homes, fairs and theater stages to name a few. This group is open to both Members and the Community.
Connect with members of your community! We offer groups for: grief support, scrabble/boggle, and mahjong. Our Shutterbugs photography group is coming in April! If you would like to share your passion, volunteer to start your own group, such as hiking, photography, walking or any other interests you may have.
