At the Y, we believe the ability to swim is a critical life skill.
When you learn to swim, you gain confidence, acquire safety/rescue skills, and experience water activities you can enjoy for a lifetime. Throughout all stages, we teach students how to be safe and more comfortable in the water.
Youth Swim Lessons | Ages 6 months-12 years
Choose from 8 levels of group instruction during these four or eight-week sessions. Find a time and level that is right for you with the chart on page 12. Registration closes the Thursday prior to the start date.

Teen & Adult 1-6 Lessons | Ages 12+
For teens and adults who don’t feel at ease in the water to teens/adults who want to improve their stroke and become better swimmers
Create-a-Class | Adults and Ages 6 months-12 years
Can’t find a class time that fits your needs? Get three of your friends together and we’ll design a class just for you! Availability of class times vary, inquire at Member Services.
SNAP (Special Needs Aquatic Play) | Ages 5-16
SNAP is a group lesson built to fit the needs of your swimmer. This program is a great option for youth with Asperger’s, Autism, sensory integration issues, hearing or visual impairments, or individual needs. Instructors modify skills to fit class needs using space, sound, visual aids, and touch. Parent should come prepared to swim with their child the first day.
