It’s Not Just Kids Stuff

Today, older adults are more health conscious than ever before. The YMCA offers seniors the opportunity to maintain a healthy lifestyle, healthy relationships, and a positive outlook on life. Active older adults live longer and have better functional conditioning. That is why the YMCA offers water exercise, yoga, walking clubs stretching and toning classes, volunteer opportunities, and social events.
Programs include group exercise classes, social events, low impact water exercise, community education and more!

If you are a participating health insurance benefit member, you are entitled to full use of the Y and all six Snohomish County YMCA branches.

Wellness Orientation

When you join the Y (or if you are already a member) you will receive 3 complimentary visits with your personal Wellness Coach. Learn how to work out in the Wellness Center as well as create workouts that can enable you to start off the right way at the YMCA. Once you have completed your 3 visits you will receive a special gift from us as well as started your own journey in becoming healthier for life!

Seniors Happy Hour

Create connections and share time with your community after the 10:30 am group exercise classes. The Inter-Generational Center will have coffee and tea, along with all the amenities like computers and ping-pong.

Monday-Friday from 11:30 am-12:30 pm in the Inter-Generational Center

Personal Training

Working one-on-one with one of our experienced certified trainers will give you a customized workout that meets your specific needs. Strength training is powerful in reducing the signs and symptoms of numerous diseases and chronic conditions. Sign up at the Welcome Center.

Trips, Travels & Events

Enjoy both foreign and domestic travel opportunities, as well as the many day trips (e.g. whale watching, wine tasting, museums), potlucks, picnics, special event programs, educational seminars, and more!

Pedaling for Parkinson’s

Pedaling a bicycle may change the life of someone with Parkinson’s disease. Join us for this three times a week class designed specifically for those with Parkinson’s. View our group exercise schedules for class details.
