Teens, tweens, and everyone in between are welcome at the Y. Your membership is the first step to meeting new friends, playing sports, getting in shape to feel great, and reaching academic goals. We’ve created the following programs to ensure a safe, fun, and successful environment for all Y members.
Youth Development Center
Come in and stop by to make new friends at the place youth love to hang. We have board games, fun craft supplies, and table top games. there is always something to do in the YDC! A trusted staff member is always on hand to supervise, play a game, or help with homework. Come have fun! No membership required. Healthy snacks provided daily. Shuttle Drops you off at the Y.
Monday -Friday, and early release days (following the Monroe School District calendar). After school until 6 pm.
MAP (My Achievers Program)
MAP motivates and advocates for disadvantaged and underrepresented youth to achieve higher education goals. Focused on social justice, MAP encourages students to have meaningful conversations about culture, identity, social responsibility and more. We also provide help with homework, preparation for the transition to high school, and opportunities for college and career exploration.
Stay Safe CPR | Ages 11-15
This course provides hands-on learning activities based on national first aid guidelines and the American Heart Association program. Participants will learn about following topics the Stay Safe way: Safety and Prevention, First aid and Treating Injuries, CPR for Infants, Children and Adults, Choking Rescue Technique for infants and the Heimlich Maneuver.
