Required Skills

• One or more years’ experience in accounting office, using standard Microsoft Office Suite software and office equipment
• Basic understanding of billing practices, knowledge of eFinesstri preferred
• Current knowledge and understanding of regulations, industry trends, current practices, new developments, and applicable laws
• Be able to work independently; have excellent organizational, time management and decision making skills; and the flexibility to change priorities as required
• Must meet absolute deadlines
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including positive interaction with staff and community leaders
• Be able to speak, write, and understand English clearly and concisely; and establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with those contacted in the course of work
• Ability to maintain confidential information while dealing with proper discretion
• Satisfactory credit background check is required due to access to bank information, payment processing and position of trust
• Fluency in second language desired

Responsibilities

Association wide child care and membership billing in the Association Office located in the Everett Family Branch. Respond to staff, members, and constituents with a primary focus on accounts receivable and DSHS billing.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:
• Maintain files and database, ensuring completeness and accuracy
• Bill constituents in timely manner, checking invoices, bank drafts, and billing registers for accuracy
• Communicate to constituents of upcoming changes in billing
• File reports with grantor/government agencies by performing, compliance, and accurate record keeping
• Provide exceptional customer service to branches, volunteers, corporations, donors, members, and participants through verbal and written communications
• Accounts receivable reports and providing record keeping tools to branches
• Ensure collection of balances due by constituents
• Special projects as assigned
• Performs other duties as assigned
