PLANNING FOR YOUR FUTURE -ADVANCED CARE PLANNING

Ages 18+

What if you were tragically injured in an accident, had a debilitating fall or a life altering diagnosis? Think about it, a medical crisis can hit anyone at any time at any age. Who will be your voice if you are unable to speak? Who will decide if you can’t? Advance care planning is not just about old age. A medical crisis could leave someone too ill to make his or her own healthcare decisions.

Get the tools you need. This workshop involves learning about the types of decisions that might need to be made, considering those decisions ahead of time, and then letting others know about your preferences. Now is the time to plan so you can be sure to get the health care you want. Knowing how you would decide takes some of the burden off family and friends. Have the conversation!
