NOVEMBER 25 - SHOPPERS' DAY OUT

SHOP WHILE THEY PLAY

Take care of some holiday shopping while we watch the kids! Register strating October 25 thru November 21 for Shoppers’ Day Out. We will provide time in our Adventure Zone, games in the gym, crafts, and pizza. For ages 5-12.

 

DATE: Saturday, November 25, Noon-4:30 pm  

FEES: $25 per child

YOUTH DEVELOPMENT CENTER

Come join us during the Summerl to relax, visit our teen café, or challenge your friends to a game of ping-pong or Wii U.

Teen Café will offer snacks, smoothies and yoguccinos. 

Free and open to all middle and high school students

Times: Monday - Friday 2-6:15 pm

MY ACHIEVERS PROGRAM - Stanwood High School

-Come join us afterschool for snacks, fun, homework help and even fieldtrips at the YMCA’s My Achievers Program! Students will get a say in which field trips and activities the program participates in. Stop by and find out what kind of program you can build! Free & open to all SHS and LHHS students

STAND UP SPEAK OUT -Youth & Government

 

– Coming this Fall …… 

-Students grades 8-12 hone their opinions and have their voices heard on the issues that matter to them. Participants will develop public speaking skills, write legislative bills, and debate important current issues with peers. Program culminates in a trip to Olympia where participants put their new skills to use.

GIRLS OF PROMISE - Stanwood Middle School

Grades 6-8, Stanwood Middle School

– Coming Soon (October 2017) for middle school girls

-Get together at lunch with other middle school girls to have fun, build self-confidence and discuss topics of your choice. Through conversation we will learn leadership skills as well as how to break stereotypes and make healthy choices.
