The Monroe Family YMCA is constantly growing and expanding its youth and adult sports programs, and hosts a variety of sports for all ages. All youth leagues focus on teaching youth teamwork, friendships, skills, and respect for coaches, players, and self. Indoor soccer | Ages 3-12
Children learn the fundamentals of soccer, building skills in a non-competitive environment. The
program focuses on skill building and sportsmanship by providing a positive, family-oriented and fun experience.

Martial Arts | Ages 6+
Learn confidence, safety awareness, self-defense, discipline and respect, all while having fun! Supervised physical contact is allowed only between qualified ranking students. Belt promotions are scheduled when level requirements are achieved. Parents are welcome to observe! A white martial arts uniform is suggested. All classes taught by Terrie Shepherd.

Come join Coach Austin for some basic sports fun. We will try out basketball, soccer, t-ball and more! This is a Mom/Dad and me class.

Homeschool Fitness | Ages 10-17
The Y offers a one hour fitness class available to your home school students. The class will consist of a15 minute nutrition lesson, and a 45 minute 45 minute fitness class (with an instructor). Then the entire family can head off to open swim and your family will also have access to the YMCA for the rest of the day.

Foot Patrol is a developmentally appropriate running program that combines games, drills and distance to make running fun. We will focus on nutrition, hydration, breath control, posture, Y core values and sportsmanship.
