Today, older adults are more health conscious than ever before. The YMCA offers seniors the opportunity to maintain a healthy lifestyle, healthy relationships, and a positive outlook on life. Active older adults live longer and have better functional conditioning. That is why the YMCA offers water exercise, yoga, walking clubs stretching and toning classes, volunteer opportunities, and social events.
Programs include group exercise classes, social events, low impact water exercise, community education and more!

If you are a participating health insurance benefit member, you are entitled to full use of the Y and all six Snohomish County YMCA branches.
Sometimes we need a little extra support to start working out or changing healthy habits. Our Wellness Coaches offer 45 minute sessions to discuss goals, provide support, and coaching to help you get started. This service is included with your membership, sign up for an appointment at the Welcome Center.
Working one-on-one with one of our experienced certified trainers will give you a customized workout that meets your specific needs. Strength training is powerful in reducing the signs and symptoms of numerous diseases and chronic conditions. Sign up at the Welcome Center.
