Creative and Crafty Sewing Class

Ages: 8+
This class is for kids and adults that like to craft and enjoy sewing. Ms. Eileen leads weekly projects to keep the class interested and leaves room for each participant to add their own touch to each project. This class offers opportunity for those with and without sewing machine experience.

  • If you have your own sewing machine you are encouraged to bring it with you.
  • All supplies are provided, for special projects you are welcome to pick up additional supplies, but this is not required.

When: Thursdays, 4-5:30 pm

Coding For Kids

Ages: 10-14
Ucodemy Coding for Kids provides the safety of a private server and allows for a social environment where learning can thrive.  Each lesson will guide students with little or no coding experience through core concepts to a level where they can design and create projects on their own.

Each student will need their own Chromebook.  We will be offering a rental or purchase option.  Please inquire with Dana Hendricks for mroe information at dhendricks@ymca-snoco.org.

Little Hands Crafty Hour

This class is for parents looking for a creative way to spend an evening with your little one!

Each week you will have a fun lesson with a finished project to take home.  Led by Yoselin, our new Child Watch & Adventure Zone Coordinator.

 

AGES:   3-6

When:    Thursdays, 6-7pm
October 5, 12, 19 - Come Paint With Me!
November 2,9,16 - Come Create With Me!

FACILITY MEMBERS: $35 per session

PROGRAM MEMBERS: $45 per session

COMMUNITY MEMBERS: $55 per session

 


Y Writers

Ages: 7-11
Calling all writers to join us for a fun time with the written word. No experience necessary, writers of all levels are welcome. This will be a non-pressure class that promises to be fun and creative. Each week a new topic will be introduced, questions will be asked, examples will be shared and then away your imagination can go as you transfer it onto paper! At the end of the workshop you will get to take home a portfolio of your work!
