Meet the Trainer!

Drop by the Group X Studio in June to meet the trainer and learn about the great tools available in the studio. You can get some personal attention, while you learn the basics on topics such as Kettle Bells, Vipr, TRX, battle ropes, and other functional training equipment that you can use on your own. Best part, it’s free!

Metabolic Circuit with Sara

Ages 15+
Needing a little more from your workout? Looking to add some variety? Stuck on a plateau? Then join us! We will start in the Cardio/Weight room on machines for a warm up and then transition to the Group X Studio where we will utilize our new, improved and awesome functional training equipment. Here we will offer some great circuits meant to challenge metabolic fitness and strength in a functional, safe, and fun way.

When: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 11:30 am-12:30 pm

Parent Workout Group

Need some help and motivation? Join us and meet with other parents looking to find ways to incorporate exercise into the demands of raising a family. We will engage in 30 minutes of discussion with opportunities to ask questions and gain support and information from a YMCA trained Wellness Coach and other parents facing similar challenges. Then, we’ll head up to the cardio-weight room, where we’ll support each other as you enjoy a workout that suits you.

  • A great way to meet other people, find a workout buddy, and get technical and emotional support on your wellness journey!
  • Outside of our weekly get-togethers feel free to join up for additional workouts or to try a group exercise class.

When: April 25-June 24, Tuesdays and Saturdays from 11 am-12:30 pm
Come to one day or both, you choose!

Pedaling for Parkinson's

The mission of Pedaling for Parkinson’s is to:

  • Improve the quality of life of Parkinson’s disease patients and their caregivers
  • Educate patients, caregivers, and the general public about the benefits of maintaining an active lifestyle after a Parkinson’s diagnosis
  • Support research dedicated to prevention and treatment of Parkinson’s disease.

The Pedaling for Parkinson’s program is available at your Mill Creek Family YMCA as a 12-week session of classes. You will need to register prior to the start of a session, as classes are closed once a session begins. Classes are held in the Cycle Studio, on individual stationary bikes.

When: Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 9-10 am

Cost: This program is free for all participants for the first 8 weeks, after that a YMCA membership is required.

Personal Dance Instruction

Ages 7+
Focus on your areas of interest, and get individual attention from our expert dance instructor. You will receive four 50-minute sessions of training with Miss Ashely and can invite up to three members to share the experience with you. This is only available to Facility Members.

Working with one of our experienced certified personal trainers will give you the confidence and skills to achieve your fitness and wellness goals safely and efficiently.

Your personal training sessions are as unique as your individual needs and will include fitness equipment and movements tailored to build your strength, endurance flexibility and balance.

Small Group Personal Training - Summer Special

Grab a friend or two and take advantage of our summer special pricing! 2-3 people can share the cost of four sessions and enjoy the attention of a certified personal trainer who will focus on you, while providing a workout tailored to your goals and concerns.

Ages: 12+
When: May 31-July 31, time and date to be scheduled with trainer
Facility Members: $200 per group for Four Sessions
