FAQs

Yes! Fill out our Tour & Try form to receive a free guest pass. Or, ask a friend that is already a member of the Y if they have a Guest Pass to share so you can come to the facility with them. You can use complimentary guest passes up to three times in a year. After that,  visit your branch to learn about upcoming promotions.
Membership rates are based upon membership type – individual, family, senior, etc. View our current membership prices.
The Y has no contracts. Monthly payments are made automatically via bank draft or credit card draft. Alternatively, you may wish to pay for your membership one year in advance. New member activation requires a one-month payment of membership dues plus pro-rated monthly fees at time of enrollment (example, if you join on April 15, you would pay a prorated rate for 15 days of membership, plus one full month’s dues).

If you register online, the credit card you provide will be used for your monthly payments on the 1st of the month. You may change your draft day to the 15th of the month or switch payment methods at the branch.

We also offer Financial Assistance. Visit our Financial Assistance page for details.

The Y is for everyone. Thanks to the generosity of our donors and funding partners, financial assistance is available to those in need. Applications are available on the Financial Assistance page.
Congratulations on starting a new health journey! You can purchase a membership online or you can join at one of our six branch locations.
When you become a YMCA of Snohomish County member, you are automatically welcomed into six family branches that offer a wide variety of youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility opportunities. Several programs are also housed off-site, including our Youth Development Centers and Big Brothers Big Sisters.

Nationwide Membership - We want to encourage members to use the Y as often as they can. Sometimes, it’s more convenient for members to use a Y in a different location when traveling, near a workplace, or in another region. Now, full facility/full privilege YMCA members have the flexibility to use other Y facilities throughout the USA, at no extra charge

Your YMCA of Snohomish County facility membership gives you unlimited access to our six family branch facilities – pools, locker rooms, cardiovascular equipment, weight rooms, most group exercise classes, personalized wellness programs, and other spirit/mind/body events.

Additionally, members are invited to participate in other fee-based activities at a discount: healthy living programs, excursions, seminars, sports leagues, swim lessons, personal training, massage, nutritional counseling, and so much more.

Absolutely! Included with every YMCA membership are 12 free Guest Passes. Simply come in with your guest to use one of your guest passes. Guests may visit the Y up to three times per calendar year. Guests may also download a free Guest Pass from our website by clicking the Tour & Try button on the right to check out our facility without a member.

You may have your membership held in abeyance once per calendar year.  All members on Leave of Absence will be charged a convenience fee of $7 per month for the duration of the Leave of Absence. If your membership dues are current, simply submit your request for absence in writing at least 15 days before the abeyance is to take effect. Absences last 60-120 days, and membership will be automatically activated after the term of absence expires. If you have paid for your membership a year in advance, the time held in absence\ will be added to the end of the current membership year.
