OUR HISTORY

The YMCA has been a cornerstone in the Everettcommunity since 1901. Rebounding after the fire of1920 and undergoing two major additions in 1960 and1980, the Everett YMCA has continued to ensure thateveryone, regardless of age, income, or background hasthe opportunity to live life to the fullest.Over the years, the Y has grown to meet communityneeds, expanding to six full-facility branches andcollaborating with its Big Brothers Big Sisters affiliate.

THE TIME IS NOW

As your YMCA and the greater Everett communityhave evolved over the decades, the need for facilityreplacement to more effectively achieve your YMCA’smission is evident, including the demand to improveaccessibility and program delivery. Supporting yourYMCA has never been more important.

EXPANDING OUR REACH

In 2014, Everett residents were surveyed as part of aMembership Feasibility Study. The results indicate a highdemand for a new comprehensive YMCA in the greaterEverett community, and will triple the number of peopleserved.
