EVERETT, Wash., Feb. 15, 2017 – More than 600 community members and business/religious leaders are expected to gather on April 14 for the 57th annual Good Friday Prayer Breakfast sponsored by the YMCA of Snohomish County.
The Prayer Breakfast is a community event designed to bring the community together in a nondenominational setting to give thanks and seek guidance for the year. It is not a fund-raising event. The event will be held at the Edward D. Hansen Conference Center at the XFINITY Arena at Everett, 2000 Hewitt Avenue, Everett WA 98201.
This year’s guest speaker is Bob Goff. Goff is the New York Times Best-Selling Author of “Love Does,” as well as an attorney who founded Love Does, a nonprofit human rights organization operating in Uganda, India, Nepal, Iraq, and Somalia. Bob is a sought after speaker for leadership, church, and university events, inspiring current and future influencers to get to the “do” part of life. Choosing to live audaciously, Bob connects to audiences in a powerfully inspirational, yet down to earth manner.
