Babysitting Basics

Mill Creek YMCA
Ages: 9-18

This child and babysitting class will help any youth getting started with babysitting or if they are about to start staying home alone. Youth will learn leadership skills like setting boundaries and conflict resolutions, basic care giving skills, play time ideas, safety and injury prevention plus basic First Aid. This course is taught by Sheila Davis, who is a certified First Aid/CPR instructor of the American Safety & Health Institute.
  • Participants will leave with a certification of completion
  • Bring a light jacket or sweatshirt as the room can sometimes get cold

Fall Class: Friday, October 13 from 9 am-3 pm
